The club not only participates with monetary donations to worthwhile endeavors, our time is equally shared with a wide variety of causes.
Over the history of the club, it is estimated that over 14,000 hours have been given in support of: ASID Home, Shelter for Battered Women, Matthews Help Center, Nursing Homes, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Mint Hill Madness etc.
Funds are raised through group activities such as craft auctions, quilt raffles, Christmas tour of homes, card parties, attic sales, as well as, cookbook, plant and pecan sales. Needless to say, the club has been quite activeand productive in our community!
The club encourages participation in day "Field Trips" and home and garden tours. Bridge, gourmet, book and other clubs have been organized as a byproduct of the club.
Special social highlights in many club years are: Craft Auction, Progressive Dinner, Mint Hill Madness, Card Parties and other fun activities.
